Tracker Rules
Please read and follow these rules to maintain a healthy WPTT - Wordpress PHP Torrent Tracker community.
General Site Rules
-
1
Respect All Members Critical
Treat all members with respect. Harassment, bullying, racism, sexism, or any form of discrimination will not be tolerated. This includes comments, messages, forum posts, and any other form of communication on the site.
-
2
No Illegal Content Critical
Do not upload, share, or request any content that is illegal, including but not limited to: child exploitation material, content promoting violence or terrorism, malware, or content that violates privacy laws. Violation results in immediate permanent ban and may be reported to authorities.
-
3
English Language Required Info
English is the primary language of this tracker. All torrent descriptions, comments, and forum posts should be in English. Exceptions may be made for content-specific information (e.g., foreign language film details).
-
4
Do Not Share Your Account Critical
Your account is personal and non-transferable. Do not share your login credentials, passkey, or any account information with anyone. You are responsible for all activity on your account.
-
5
No Trading, Selling, or Buying Invites Critical
Invites are a privilege, not a commodity. Trading, selling, or buying invites on any platform is strictly prohibited. Both parties involved will be permanently banned.
-
6
No Cheating or Ratio Manipulation Critical
Using modified clients, fake reporting, or any method to artificially inflate your stats is strictly prohibited. Our system actively monitors for suspicious activity. Cheaters will be permanently banned.
-
7
Follow Staff Instructions Warning
Staff members are here to help maintain the community. Please follow their instructions and decisions. If you disagree with a decision, you may appeal through proper channels, but public arguments with staff are not permitted.
-
8
Keep the Site Private Warning
Do not share links to our site, screenshots of our content, or any information that could compromise the privacy of our community on public forums, social media, or other platforms.
Downloading Rules
-
1
Use Only Approved BitTorrent Clients Warning
Only use approved BitTorrent clients. Recommended clients include: qBittorrent, Deluge, Transmission, rTorrent/ruTorrent. Clients like BitComet, BitTorrent/uTorrent (newer versions), and any modified clients are not allowed.
-
2
Enable DHT/PEX Only When Allowed Info
DHT (Distributed Hash Table) and PEX (Peer Exchange) should be disabled for private torrents from this tracker. These are automatically disabled for private torrents in most clients, but please verify your settings.
-
3
No Hit-and-Run Downloads Critical
You must seed every torrent you download for a minimum of 72 hours OR until you reach a ratio of 1.0 on that torrent, whichever comes first. Hit-and-run behavior damages the community and will result in warnings or bans.
-
4
One Connection Per Torrent Warning
Do not download the same torrent from multiple IP addresses or clients simultaneously. Only one connection per torrent is allowed per user. Multi-seeding (seeding from multiple locations) may be allowed with staff approval.
-
5
Do Not Modify Downloaded Torrents Info
Do not rename, modify, or alter torrent files or their contents while seeding. This can cause piece verification failures and harm other peers. Complete the download fully before making any changes.
-
6
Report Download Issues Info
If you encounter issues with a download (corrupted files, missing content, malware), please report it immediately using the report function. Do not leave negative comments without first trying to resolve the issue.
-
7
Respect Bandwidth Limits Info
While there are no hard limits on download speed, please be considerate of seeders. If you have a very high-speed connection, consider limiting your download speed to allow others fair access to bandwidth.
Uploading Rules
-
1
No Duplicate Uploads Warning
Search the tracker before uploading to ensure your content doesn't already exist. Duplicates will be removed. Exceptions: Different quality/format versions, proper releases replacing scene releases, or significantly better encodes.
-
2
Proper Naming Convention Warning
Use clear, descriptive names following standard conventions. Include: Title, Year, Quality, Source, Codec, and Group (if applicable). Example: "Movie.Name.2024.1080p.BluRay.x264-GROUP" or clean formatted titles with relevant details.
-
3
Complete and Accurate Descriptions Warning
Provide detailed, accurate descriptions including: Technical specifications, screenshots (for video content), tracklist (for music), contents list (for software/games), and any relevant information. Misleading descriptions will result in torrent removal and warnings.
-
4
Select Correct Category Info
Always select the most appropriate category for your upload. Miscategorized torrents may be moved or removed. If unsure, contact staff before uploading.
-
5
Quality Standards Warning
Uploads must meet minimum quality standards. No cam recordings, severely compressed files, or intentionally low-quality content. Video should be properly encoded, audio should be clear, and software should be functional.
-
6
No Malicious Content Critical
Uploading content containing viruses, malware, ransomware, or any malicious code is strictly prohibited. All uploads are scanned, and violators will be permanently banned and potentially reported.
-
7
Seed Your Uploads Critical
You must seed your uploads for a minimum of 7 days or until there are at least 3 other seeders, whichever is longer. Abandoning your own uploads will result in warnings and possible upload privileges revocation.
-
8
No Password-Protected Archives Warning
Do not upload password-protected RAR/ZIP files unless the password is clearly stated in the description. Uploads requiring users to visit external sites for passwords will be removed.
-
9
Include NFO/README When Available Info
If the original release includes NFO or README files, include them in your upload. These files contain important information about the release and should not be removed.
Ratio Requirements
-
1
Minimum Ratio Requirements Critical
Maintain a minimum ratio based on your total downloaded amount:
โข 0 - 5 GB downloaded: No minimum ratio
โข 5 - 10 GB downloaded: 0.30 minimum ratio
โข 10 - 25 GB downloaded: 0.40 minimum ratio
โข 25 - 50 GB downloaded: 0.50 minimum ratio
โข 50 - 100 GB downloaded: 0.60 minimum ratio
โข 100+ GB downloaded: 0.70 minimum ratio -
2
Ratio Watch System Warning
If your ratio drops below the minimum, you will be placed on Ratio Watch:
โข First offense: 14 days to improve ratio
โข Second offense: 7 days to improve ratio
โข Third offense: Download privileges suspended
โข Fourth offense: Account disabled -
3
Freeleech Torrents Info
Freeleech torrents do not count against your download stats. Use these opportunities to build your ratio by downloading and seeding freeleech content. Staff may designate torrents as freeleech during special events.
-
4
Upload Credit Info
Uploading new content awards bonus upload credit. Original uploads receive 100% of the torrent size as upload credit. This encourages contributing new content to the community.
-
5
Bonus Points System Info
Earn bonus points by seeding torrents. Points accumulate based on seeding time and can be exchanged for upload credit. Long-term seeding of less popular torrents earns more points.
Important Notice
Ratio is calculated as: Uploaded รท Downloaded. A ratio of 1.0 means you've uploaded as much as you've downloaded. Always try to seed as much as possible to maintain good standing.
Forum & Comment Rules
-
1
Be Respectful in Discussions Warning
Engage in constructive discussions. Personal attacks, flame wars, and trolling are not permitted. Disagree respectfully and focus on ideas, not individuals.
-
2
No Spam or Self-Promotion Warning
Do not spam forums, comments, or messages with advertisements, referral links, or excessive self-promotion. This includes promoting other trackers, websites, or services.
-
3
Use Appropriate Sections Info
Post content in the appropriate forum sections. Off-topic posts may be moved or removed. Use the search function before creating new topics to avoid duplicates.
-
4
No Political or Religious Debates Warning
This is a file-sharing community. Political, religious, and other controversial debates are off-topic and not permitted. Such discussions tend to be divisive and detract from the community's purpose.
-
5
Helpful Comments Only Info
Torrent comments should be helpful and relevant. Report issues constructively, thank uploaders, or provide useful information. Avoid comments like "thanks" or single emojis that don't add value.
Community Guidelines
-
1
Help New Members Info
We were all new once. Help newcomers understand how the tracker works, point them to guides, and be patient with questions. A welcoming community grows stronger.
-
2
Report Issues Properly Info
Use the report function for rule violations rather than engaging in public disputes. Provide clear, detailed reports to help staff address issues effectively.
-
3
Contribute Positively Info
Contribute to the community by uploading content, seeding long-term, helping others, or participating in discussions. The tracker thrives when members actively contribute.
