📋 1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and WPTT - Wordpress PHP Torrent Tracker ("we," "us," "our," or the "Platform") governing your access to and use of the WPTT - Wordpress PHP Torrent Tracker website and all related services.

👤 3. Account Registration & Security

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features of our Platform, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, truthful, and complete registration information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Not share your account credentials with any third party
• Not create multiple accounts without explicit permission

3.2 Account Security

You are solely responsible for:

• All activities that occur under your account
• Maintaining the security of your password and passkey
• Immediately notifying us of any unauthorized access or security breach
• Logging out of your account at the end of each session on shared devices

3.3 Passkey Security

Your tracker passkey is a unique identifier that links your torrent activity to your account. You must:

• Never share your passkey with anyone
• Never post torrent files containing your passkey on public sites
• Reset your passkey immediately if you suspect it has been compromised

Warning: Sharing your passkey or torrent files on external sites will result in immediate account termination.

✔️ 4. Acceptable Use Policy

4.1 Permitted Uses

You may use our Platform to:

• Share and download LEGAL content that you have the right to distribute
• Share open-source software, freeware, and public domain content
• Share content under Creative Commons or similar permissive licenses
• Share your own original creations and works
• Participate in the community in a respectful and constructive manner

4.2 Strictly Prohibited Content

You are STRICTLY PROHIBITED from uploading, sharing, or distributing:

• Copyrighted Material: Movies, music, software, games, books, or any content you do not have the right to distribute
• Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Absolutely prohibited - will be reported to authorities
• Malware: Viruses, trojans, ransomware, keyloggers, or any malicious software
• Personal/Private Information: Doxxing, leaked databases, private documents, or personal data
• Illegal Content: Any content that violates local, national, or international law
• Hate Speech: Content promoting violence, discrimination, or hatred
• Fraud/Scam Content: Phishing tools, fake software, or deceptive content

4.3 Prohibited Activities

You are prohibited from:

• Creating multiple accounts (multi-accounting)
• Sharing, selling, or trading your account
• Manipulating or cheating the ratio system
• Using automated tools to abuse the tracker or website
• Attempting to hack, exploit, or compromise our systems
• Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users or staff
• Spamming, advertising, or promoting external services
• Impersonating staff members or other users
• Circumventing any security measures or access restrictions
• Using the platform for any commercial purposes without authorization

📊 5. Ratio System & Requirements

Our Platform operates a ratio-based system to ensure fair sharing among all members.

5.1 Ratio Requirements

• You must maintain a minimum ratio as specified in our Rules
• Your ratio is calculated as: Upload ÷ Download
• Falling below the minimum ratio may result in download restrictions
• Continued failure to maintain ratio may result in account suspension

5.2 Ratio Cheating

Any attempt to artificially inflate your ratio is strictly prohibited, including:

• Using modified BitTorrent clients that report false statistics
• Exploiting tracker bugs or vulnerabilities
• Colluding with other users to artificially transfer data
• Any other method of falsifying upload/download statistics

Penalty: Ratio cheating will result in permanent ban without appeal.

📤 6. Content Uploads & Responsibility

6.1 Your Responsibilities

When uploading content to our Platform, you represent and warrant that:

• You own or have all necessary rights to the content
• The content does not infringe any third-party rights
• The content complies with all applicable laws
• The content does not contain malware or malicious code
• Your description accurately represents the content

6.2 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Platform and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Your content uploads
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Any misuse of the Platform by you

6.3 Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove any content at our sole discretion, without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Violation of these Terms or our Rules
• Receipt of a valid DMCA takedown notice
• Legal requirements or court orders
• Content deemed harmful to the community

7.2 Repeat Infringer Policy

We maintain a strict repeat infringer policy. Users who repeatedly upload infringing content will be permanently banned.

• Availability, accuracy, or reliability

8.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE PLATFORM AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill

8.3 Third-Party Content

We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for any user-uploaded content. You download and use any content at your own risk.

9.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Platform will immediately cease
• Your account data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy
• Content you uploaded may remain on the Platform

9.2 Termination by Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, including but not limited to:

• Violation of these Terms or our Rules
• Uploading prohibited content
• Ratio cheating or system abuse
• Extended account inactivity
• Request from law enforcement
• Any other reason at our sole discretion

9.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, all provisions of these Terms which should survive will survive, including ownership, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
